This delicious and easy to make Homemade Smoky Seasoning Rub perfectly complements steak with the best herbs and spices providing the best flavoured and perfectly textured steak.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 ½ TBSP Kosher Salt
  • 1 ½ TBSP Smoked Paprika
  • 1 TBSP Onion Powder
  • 1 TBSP Black Pepper
  • 1 TBSP Garlic Powder
  • 1 TBSP Dried Oregano
  • 1 ½ tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp Ground Cumin

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients into a small bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Store the seasoning in an airtight container at room temperature.
  • Apply the seasoning as a dry rub to meat. Allow the meat to marinate with the run for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
  • This smoky seasoning works well on steak, pork and chicken.
