This Milktart fudge is a very rich fudge, so I would recommend that it be cut into small squares. It is lovely with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Place all ingredients in a saucepan (a large saucepan as it does increase in volume when you boil it) and bring to the boil over low heat while stirring with a wooden spoon.
Continue to stir until mixture is golden brown and thickens, about 25-30 minutes.
Remove from heat and beat on low speed with an electric mixer until mixture is creamy.
Line a 20x30cm baking dish with baking paper. Pour in fudge mixture and cool.
Place on chopping board and cut.
