We all love the Melktart (Milk Tart) and Fudge, so why not blend the two together? This easy to make, though quite sweet, milktart fudge goes great with a cuppa for morning or afternoon tea.

Milktart Fudge
It is a very rich fudge, so I would recommend that it be cut into small squares. It is lovely with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
It is more of a hard fudge, like the caramel fudge that we make, which means it does take a little longer to make.
When making this fudge, you need to make sure that the mixture is well cooked before removing it from the heat and beating with an electric mixer or otherwise it will not set properly. It will become quite sticky and hard to cut. If this happens, you can try reheating it again, though be very careful not to burn it.
