This homemade coffee lip balm combines coffee infused oil, beeswax and cocoa butter for a lovely, moisturising balm that will soothe and protect your lips.
Pour over the carrier oil until the coffee is fully covered. Stir gently to combine.
Add the lid and sit in a cool, dry place for four weeks to infuse.
When done, strain the oil through a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer to remove all the coffee grounds.For more information, check out these Coffee Infused Oil instructions.
Coffee Lip Balm
Once the coffee infused oil is ready, add the infused oil, the beeswax and the cacao butter to a microwavable jug.
Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, remove and stir, then heat for additional 30 second increments, until fully melted, stirring well between each heating session. A double boiler can also be used to melt these ingredients together.
Add essential oils and vitamin E oil, if using.
Pour into lip balm containers.
Allow to sit for several hours until set.
Add lids and labels and store.Use as needed.
