Day 70
Today we spent the morning resting and cleaning the van before having a wonderful lunch with some friends at the Dragon Fly Cafe in Broome.
Then it was off to the Sun Pictures to watch the early movie ‘Minions’. Built in 1918, Sun Pictures is thought to be the oldest open air cinema in the world. It showed soundless pictures until 1933.
You can take your pillows, a blanket and relax on the old canvas deck chairs while watching the big screen.
The back half was under cover, the front half was under the stars. We sat on the first row out under the stars.
