Day 49
We left Coomalie Creek RV Park quite early, arriving in Darwin just after 9am. We were very lucky to be given a site at Robbie Robbins Reserve. At $35 a night (4 people) with power and water and to be able to do your washing for free, YES FREE! we thought it was a good price. The downside is the location. Next door is the Darwin Prison and it is not far from the airport, so there are planes flying over a bit as well.
After getting settled in, we took the boys to the Free, YES FREE AGAIN! Waterpark at Leanyer. The Leanyer Recreational Park.
I have to say, when we heard it was free, we weren’t expecting too much, but on arriving the boys were like WOW! WOW! Can we do all this for free?!!
With a skate park, basketball court, dry playground and a pool, slides and wet playground it has something for everyone! Our boys keep begging to go back!
Since we will be spending some time in Darwin and with so many things to see and do, I will be posting each day separately.
