Australian Animals Printable Pack

Materials Needed
  • white paper
  • printer

Many unique animals live in Australia. In this printable pack, children will learn about the laughing kookaburra, the shy platypus, the hopping kangaroo, the sleepy koala, the dingo, the black swan, the cockatoo, wombat, possum, emu and the flying fox. A great way to learn about a different country is to learn about the unusual animals that live there.

I have laminated the Australian Animal information cards in this printable pack and am keeping them together with a binder ring. Our boys have been using these cards to learn about the different animals as well as using them as part of their copywork. They research the animal, then copy the facts from the information card. This helps with their handwriting as well as with retaining the information they are learning.
