Herbal Garden Pest Spray
This herbal garden pest spray is a great all-round pest spray. It can be used for many pests including:
- Aphids
- Whitefly
- Thrip
- Snails
- Slugs
- And even some possums.
Be careful when preparing and using the spray, that it does not come into contact with your skin or eyes. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after making and using this spray.
Also, keep it away from children.
Ingredients for Making this Herbal Garden Pest Spray
To make about 3 ½ cups of spray, you will need:
- 1 Garlic Bud
- ½ Cup Mint Leaves
- ½ TBSP Cayenne Pepper or Chilli Powder
- ½ TBSP Liquid Castile Soap
- 3 Cups of Water
Making this Herbal Garden Pest Spray
Start by peeling the garlic and adding it to a food processor.
Add the cayenne pepper, water and mint leaves to the food processor and blend until all chopped up and mixed well.
Pour the mixture into a jar and let infuse for a few hours.
Strain the mixture and then add the liquid to a spray bottle.
Mix in the Castile soap and shake to combine.
Using Herbal Garden Pest Spray
To use, spray a small amount onto the leaves of the affected plants to help keep garden pests away.
Repeat again three days later.
Storing Garden Pest Spray
Store in the glass spray bottle in a cool, dark place for up to two weeks.
