Days 123-124

Days 122- 124

Today we headed straight for the information centre to see the Lady Nelson ship.  Built in 1799, this ship was the first to sail along the coastline of South Australia.

After picking up some brochures about the area (and the coming areas), we headed to the Cave Gardens.

The cave gardens is a sinkhole that was used by the original settlers as a source of water.

The rose garden was pretty spectacular too.

Next, we visited another sinkhole, Umpherston Sinkhole.

These flowers were just gorgeous, so had to get a photo of them.

We had to run quickly under these bee hives with a boy who reacts badly when bitten by these animals.

We returned to this place around 6:30pm to feed the possums bananas and strawberry jam sandwiches.

The next day was very wet, so we stayed warm in our van, watching dvds and resting after a big couple of days. That night the boys were really keen to visit the possums again, so thankfully, the weather was fine at 6pm, so we headed back to see feed the possums again.
