Snowflake Lotion Bars
These simple to make homemade snowflake lotion bars are perfect for dry skin and make a great handmade gift.

Equipment
- Snowflake Mould
- 4 cup Microwave safe measuring cup with spout
- Wood Craft stick for stirring
Ingredients
- 2 oz Beeswax
- 2 oz Shea Butter
- 2 oz Coconut oil
- 5 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- 7 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
- 4 drops Lemon Essential Oil
- 2 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
Instructions
- Place the beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil in the measuring cup.
- Heat on high in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring between each heating session, until fully melted and mixed together.
- Allow to cool slightly, for just a few minutes, then add the essential oils and stir well.
- Place the mould on a flat surface where the bars will be able to sit, undisturbed, for a few hours.
- Pour the mixture into the mould, filling each cavity until they are around ¾ full.
- Allow to set, undisturbed for about 6 hours.
- Remove from mould and store in an airtight container.
- To Use – When ready to use, rub a lotion bar onto your hands to warm it up slightly and it will start to melt. Rub into your skin making sure the lotion is distributed all over.
