Homemade Anti Itch Spray
This homemade anti itch spray is a wonderful herbal remedy that helps relieve the itchy sensation from insect bites, rubbing against a plant or that dry, irritated skin, especially that can occur in the cooler weather.

Servings: 1 Cup
Ingredients
- ½ tsp Menthol Crystals
- 1 Cup Witch Hazel
- 1 TBSP Aloe Vera Gel
- 7 Drops Essential Oils Such as Peppermint or Lavender - Optional
Instructions
- Pour the witch hazel into a small saucepan. Heat over low heat until it is warm. It should not be too hot to touch. This could also be done in a glass microwaveable jug. Just slowly heat the witch hazel in short bursts.
- Slowly mix in the menthol crystals until they dissolve.
- Set the saucepan aside to cool down.
- If using essential oils, pour the aloe vera gel into a small bowl and mix through the essential oils.
- Pour the aloe vera gel into the witch hazel mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Pour into a glass spray bottle and shake before each use.
- When not using, store the spray bottle in the fridge. It should last a week or two when stored this way.
