Epsom Salts Bath Gems

This gorgeous twist on the original bath salts, these adorable epsom salt bath gems are super easy to make and can be bundled up in a jar for gift giving.

Equipment

Silicone moulds, star, heart, and circle used for these

Ingredients

1 Cup Epsom Salts
1 TBSP Bicarbonate of Soda, Baking soda
1 tsp Sweet Almond Oil
1 tsp Water
20 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
¼ tsp Purple Mica Powder

Instructions

Add the dry ingredients - epsom salts and baking soda to a bowl and stir well until completely combined.
Gently add the sweet almond oil, water, and mica powder. Stir well.
Add the essential oil, if using, and mix through thoroughly.
Add the mixture to the molds, and press down with a spoon.
Allow to set overnight, and unmould.
Store in an airtight jar or container.
To use, add 5 - 7 gems to your bath or a bucket of water for a relaxing foot spa.
