Easy Lavender Soap
This lavender soap is so quick and easy to make and smells absolutely amazing!

Ingredients
- 450 g goats milk soap base
- 1 1/2 tsp dried lavender
- 15 drops Lavender Essential Oil
- Microwave safe glass bowl
- Spoon
- Knife
- A soap mold
- Soap Colourants - This is optional and I played around with blue and red until I got the purple colour I wanted.
- Rubbing alcohol in spray bottle optional
Instructions
- Cut up the goat milk soap into small chunks, about 2 cm x 2cm and place in a glass microwavable jug.
- Microwave in 20 second increments, stirring well after each 20 seconds. Don't overheat as it will cause the soap base to start bubbling up.
- Once all the lumps are melted, add the dried lavender and lavender essential oil.
- Mix well.
- If you are using the colorants, now is the time to add them. Then mix well.
- Place your soap molds on a flat even surface where they can stay, untouched for the next few hours.
- Pour your soap into the mold.
- I let my soap sit for around 12 hours, allowing it to harden up before popping it out of the mold.

Notes
- If your soap has bubbles form on the top after you pour your soap base into your molds, you can spray the tops of the soap with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) as this will help break them up and give you a smooth surface.
