Our boys love visiting the zoo, watching all the amazing animals there. They love getting up close to the animals, having helped feed and pat the animals. These zoo animal clip cards contain many animals that you will see at the zoo, and is aimed at kids in the 2-10 age bracket.
In this pack you will find a variety of clip cards. I recommend all cards to be printed out on white cardstock and then laminated for durability. To clip the answer on the cards, you could use mini wooden pegs, wooden pegs or lollies.
The clip cards included are:
Beginning sound clip cards, where your child can say the name of the animal and then clip the beginning sound/letter.
Lowercase/Uppercase matching clip cards are great for learning to match the lowercase letters of the alphabet with the uppercase ones.
These Count the syllables clip cards are great for those learning about syllables. Place you hand gently under the front of your throat and say the name of the animal. How many times does your hand move? This is the number of the syllables in each word.
These vowel sound clip cards are missing the first vowel of each of the words. Work out the sound of the vowel and clip the answer.
Practice counting with these count and clip cards. Count the number of animals on each card and then clip the answer.
These simple addition and subtraction clip cards can be used to introduce your child to simple math sums or used as revision for those who have already learnt.
