Sandalwood Sugar Scrub Bars
Learn how to make these lovely smelling Sandalwood Sugar Scrub Bars which are great for exfoliating and moisturising your skin without the greasy or oily feeling.
2 oz square soap mould
2-4 cup microwave safe measuring jug
Wooden paddlepop stick
cubes of goat's milk melt and pour soap base
sweet almond oil
Sandalwood Essential Oil
coffee coloured mica powder,
Break up the goat's milk melt and pour soap base into pieces and place in a microwavable jug.
Melt for 30 seconds and stir well with the paddlepop stick. If it isn't fully melted, heat again, in 10 second increments until fully melted.
Add the white sugar and the sweet almond oil and mix well. If using the mica powder, mix in now. You may need to heat again for another 10 to 20 seconds, to help the mixture mix properly.
Add the essential oil and mix thoroughly.
Pour into the silicone mould cavities.
Let the bars set for 1 hour.
Then unmould and store in an airtight container.
