Homemade Vegetable Dog Biscuits
Treat your furry friend to this incredibly tasty, easy to make vegetable dog biscuits that contain only six ingredients, and can be made into any shape you wish.
Food Processor or Blender
ground dog dry food pieces
plain Greek yoghurt
cooked, mashed vegetables & fruit,
sweet potato, pumpkin, apple
whole wheat flour
Line cookie trays with baking paper.
Grind the dry dog food into flour consistency in a food processor or blender.
Mix dog food, carrots, yogurt, and vegetables / fruit in a medium size bowl.
Add the flour and the baking powder, mix well.
Take a ball of dough and place on flat, floured surface. Roll the dough out to approximately ¼ inch thick. TIP - Roll dough out on parchment paper for easier clean up.
Use cookie/fondant cutters to cut out shapes. Place on prepared cookie trays.
Bake 350˚F or 180˚C for 15 minutes, flip over bake for another 15 minutes.
Place on cooling rack to cool.
Store in airtight container.
