Caramel Malteser Ice Cream Slice

Ingredients

  • 600 ml thickened cream
  • 1 tin top n fill caramel
  • 1 pkt maltesers 155g

Instructions

  • Beat the cream until soft peaks form.
  • Add the top n fill caramel and beat together until mixture is really creamy.
  • Chop (or smash) 3/4 of the maltesers and add them to the ice cream mixture.
  • Stir well.
  • Line a large loaf pan with baking paper.
  • Pour mixture into the pan and freeze until solid, usually overnight.
  • Take the loaf pan out the of the freezer and tip upside down.
  • Using the edges of the baking paper, slide the ice cream slice out of the pan.
  • Remove baking paper and cut into 2-3cm slices.
  • Serve immediately with extra maltesers.

To make this in a thermo machine

  • Mix the cream on SP10, 10 sec
  • then scrape down the sides and beat on SP6, 10 sec.
  • Then scrape down the sides again and repeat SP6, 10 sec.
  • Add the caramel and mix on SP6, 10 secs.
  • Chop (or smash) 3/4 of the maltesers and add them to the ice cream mixture.
  • Stir well.
  • Line a large loaf pan with baking paper.
  • Pour mixture into the pan and freeze until solid, usually overnight.
  • Take the loaf pan out the of the freezer and tip upside down.
  • Using the edges of the baking paper, slide the ice cream slice out of the pan.
  • Remove baking paper and cut into 2-3cm slices.
  • Serve immediately with extra maltesers.
