Triple Layer Ice Cream Cake
This ice cream cake takes some time to make, waiting for the layers to set before continuing. Otherwise, it is so easy to make and you can decorate it how you wish.
For this cake, I used a layer of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, though you can use any flavours you want – caramel, chocolate chip, mint – the options are endless!
Let the ice cream for the fist layer soften, then place it in the sprayed springform pan. Freeze for about 30 minutes, before repeating with the next layer and then the next layer.
Once all the layers have been done, freeze the cake overnight.
Before you want to serve, prepare all the decorations that you want to use. I used chopped maltesers, broken up flake and crunchie pieces, and I added a few blueberries.
Then I drizzled ice cream topping over it and served.
As we didn’t eat it all in one sitting, I covered it with cling wrap and put it back into the freezer.
