We previously had a cardboard box that had been cut up, dividers added and then painted for the boys stationery holder in between their school desks.
This holder was made up over 5 years ago and was getting a little old, so we decided to make a new one!
I had a lazy susan laying around that the boys were playing with and thought it would be a great stationery holder that the boys could spin around to get whatever stationery they needed.
We spray painted the lazy susan white as I wasn’t into the pine colour. Then we went searching to ‘holders’ to put onto our stationery holder. At Target, we found some plastic picnic cups that came in packs of 4. We purchased two of the small sized cup packs and one of the larger sized cup packs.
I superglued the bottom of the cups and placed them onto the painted lazy susan. We left them to dry overnight before filling them up the next day.
The boys love it! They think it is great to spin around and look for the pens, pencils or markers that they need.
