The boys love them with jam, sometimes with a little cream.
This recipe is from the first 4 Ingredients book (the one with the Green Cover).
- 4 cups Self Raising Flour
- 1 can lemonade
- 300 ml cream
- Sift flour, make a well in the centre and add cream and lemonade.
- Mix to make a firm dough. Roll Out. Cut with a scone cutter.
- Bake in a hot oven for around 20 minutes or until golden.
- Makes about 12
