Homeschool Office by Lord Heritage is an online program that helps you plan, organise and manage your homeschool. Homeschool Office is a web based program that can be used on any device in which you can access a browser, so long as you have a good internet connection. To take a good look at this program, I first looked at the Product Features and Purpose and Sample Pages.

 Lord Heritage

Lord Heritage Homeschool Office follows the acronym P.O.W.E.R with each section following a verse of Scripture.

The menu is broken into seven sections, Home, Team, Plan, Order, Work Evaluate and Report, to help you track everything you need in your homeschool.

Home: This is where you see your family messages and any reminders you may have.

Team: This section where you set up your homeschool and students. This is where you add your homeschool details, your homeschool reporting party information as well as details for outside activities.

Plan (Jeremiah 29:11): This section helps you plan and prepare for your homeschool year. This is where you add the subjects for each of your students by typing in their grade and choosing the subjects from a drop down menu. You can also add in the hours they are required to complete in each subject. In this section, you can complete the Master Schedule which is great if you complete each subject in the same order every day.As we don’t need this, I didn’t utilise this. In this area you area also able to keep track of your homeschool budget for each student.

Lord Heritage 1

Order (1 Corinthians 14:40): In this section are multi-view calendars, including monthly, weekly or daily, that help you schedule the lessons. You can also add To do Lists and print off your calendars. Below is our boys schedule for yesterday. One boy is blue and the other is purple.

Lord Heritage 3

Work (John 17:4): This is for the students, so they can follow their schedule and mark of their lessons as they complete them. These schedules can also be printed for easy access as well. These calendars are ‘view-only,’ so they can’t be edited.

Evaluate (Matthew 28:20): This is where you track attendance, subject hours and grading.

Lord Heritage 5

Report (Romans 14:12): This is where you build your reports. These reports can be downloaded and printed if needed.

Overall, as I prefer the paper and pen method and found this program a little hard to get started with. It took me a little time to navigate around the program and set up each of our children’s calendars. There is a fabulous Support area, that I found extremely helpful in becoming more confident in using this program. Once I felt a little more comfortable with the program, I found it was great having everything for our homeschool in one place. I loved how this program is based on Biblical principles and has Scripture reminders throughout. I would recommend you start with the 30-day trial to see if this program is a good fit for you.
