We have started our look at Italy using the package we received from the Cultural Exchange as a base for our study.

We talked about the food from Italy and one of the favourite sweets over there is Gelato.
It took me awhile to find a simple recipe that did not use an ice cream maker, as I don’t have one and am not looking at buying one either. I finally found one at The Stone Soup.
It was easy and delicious, though a little gritty.
