Pumpkin Banana Bread
This crowd pleaser, tasty fall recipe is kid friendly and a great to use any leftover or extra pumpkin. Being such an easy recipe to make, try baking several loaves at once and freezing some of them for use later on.
Depending on the side of your loaf pans, this recipe will make 2 large loaves or 3 to 4 small loaves.

- Banana

- Plain Flour
- Baking Soda
- Ground Cinnamon

Variations
- Try adding 1 ½ tsp of pumpkin pie spice to the mixture
- Add ½ cup chopped walnuts, pecans or some other kind of nuts
- Add in ½ cup raisins
- Adding more chocolate chips is always ok!
Making Pumpkin Banana Bread
Preheat the oven to 180˚C (350˚F).
Prepare two regular loaf pans or 3 to 4 mini loaf pans with nonstick cooking spray or baking paper.
Whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice (if using), salt, baking powder, sugar, and brown sugar.
In another mixing bowl, combine the oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and banana until blended.
Add the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using and mix well.
Divide the batter between the prepared baking pans.
Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Cool in the pans for 5 to 10 minutes before removing to continue cooling on a wire rack.
