Learning rhythm is a great skill for children to learn as it helps with rhythmic concepts and build awareness, allowing children to create their own patterns and sequences. These fun printable rhythm cards can be used in many ways to help introduce children to music concepts, symbols, patterns and sequences.

Rhythm Cards
This printable pack contains 10 pages of cards. Each page contains three cards, therefore a total of 30 cards which can be used with children. The cards start of easy, and get slightly harder by the end of the pack. There is also a page with time signatures that can be used to put in front of the rhythmic patterns when the children are ready to move onto them.
To Prepare:
Print out the pages, cut out the cards and laminate for durability. I like to keep them together with a binder ring.
To Use:
These cards can be used by:
- singing the pattern and having children repeat you
- tap the pattern using a pair of sticks
- clap and count the pattern
- create your own mini song by placing multiple cards next to each other and clapping out the pattern
