This easy to make pizza bread is so delicious, making it great meal for lunch or a side for dinner.

Pizza Bread

This pizza bread is easy to make, and tastes delicious. The dough can be made in a thermo machine or in a stand mixer with a dough hook.

Once the dough is made and has been left to sit for 1 hour to rise, separate it into 2 parts and roll out the first part into a square on a floured board.

Lightly spray with olive oil and sprinkle with rosemary or create a pizza base by mixing tomato paste with a little basil, dried garlic and rosemary and spread it on the dough.

Add the toppings of your choice, fold one side of the dough over â…”’s of the way to cover the fillings, then fold the other side over the same way. Press the edges down and gently slice the top of the bread.

Spray with a little olive oil, sprinkle with a little more rosemary and top with some grated cheese.

Bake in a moderate oven for around 20 minutes, until golden.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g water
  • 7 g yeast or 1 sachet of dry yeast
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g plain flour
  • Toppings of your choice: grated cheese ham, bacon, onion, capsicum, diced tomato, olives

Instructions

  • Add the water, oil, and salt to the bowl of your stand mixer and mix for 30 seconds.
  • Add the flour and yeast and knead for 7 minutes.
  • Take out of bowl and add to an oiled bowl.
  • Cover with a tea towel and put in a warm place to rise for 60 minutes.
  • After it has risen, take out of bowl and separate into 2 parts.
  • On a floured bowl, roll out one part into a square shape.
  • Spray with a little oil, sprinkle on a little of rosemary if you wish and then add your filling.
  • Roll over one side and then the other to make it into a log.
  • Slice strips on the top where you are going to cut it to eat.
  • Garnish with a little oil, rosemary and grated cheese.
  • Bake in the oven at 180ËšC until brown, about 20 minutes.

Thermo Machine Recipe

  • Add the water, oil, and salt to the bowl and process for 1 min, 37deg, SP2.
  • Add the flour and yeast and knead 10sec, SP6 then 2mins, then SP1 for 7 minutes.
  • Take out of bowl and add to an oiled bowl.
  • Cover with a tea towel and put in a warm place to rise for 60 minutes.
  • After it has risen, take out of bowl and separate into 2 parts.
  • On a floured bowl, roll out one part into a square shape.
  • Spray with a little oil, sprinkle on a little of rosemary if you wish and then add your filling.
  • Roll over one side and then the other to make it into a log.
  • Slice strips on the top where you are going to cut it to eat.
  • Garnish with a little oil, rosemary and grated cheese.
  • Bake in the oven at 180ËšC until brown, about 20 minutes.
