Listening to children starting to read is just so amazing. Listening to them trying to sound out the words that they aren’t familiar with, watching them grow is just great. These Nursery Rhyme Easy Read Books are easy to prepare and are good for sitting down with your children, helping them learn to read.

This Nursery Rhyme Easy Read Books Printable Pack contains easy read books for ten popular nursery rhymes. They are:
- Hey Diddle Diddle
- Hickory Dickory Dock
- Old Mother Hubbard
- Jack and Jill
- One, Two, Three, Four, Five
- Baa, Baa, Black Sheep
- Mary Had a Little Lamb
- Humpty Dumpty
- Polly Put the Kettle On
- Little Jack Horner
This pack contains two sets of easy read books for each of the nursery rhymes. One book is just the words, while the second book contains tracing dots for younger kids who wish to track their progress as they read through the sentences.
To prepare these books, I like to print them out on white paper, cut them out and them laminate each of the pages for durability, though this is optional. Then the books can be either stapled together on the left hand side or held together with a binder ring, which allows children to flip through the pages as they read them.
These Nursery Rhyme Posters are a great addition to the nursery rhyme easy read books and can be laminated and hung up where children can get to them easily to practice their reading.
These easy read books and the posters can also be found in the printable packs for each of these nursery rhymes. You can find the printable packs by clicking the name of each of the nursery rhymes in the list above.
