As part of our ‘beachy’ Christmas theme, we made these cute mini Christmas trees. We have found them to make great table decorations.
We started with small, about 10cm high, foam cones. Starting at the bottom of the cone, we added a little foam glue to hold down the end of our hemp rope. When this was dry, we added a few drops of glue all over the foam cone and wrapped the rope around, covering all of the cone.
Then we glued the end of the thread at the back of the cone, again using the foam glue.
When this was dry, we glued on a small shell at the top of our cone.
