Today we made a marble bobsled run and a marble skiing ramp.
We had a cardboard box from our new cooktop which we cut up and laid flat.
Then we added cereal boxes to get the height for each of the runs.

For this run, we cut toilet rolls in half longways and taped them together to make a long bobsled track. We use a small yoghurt container at the bottom to catch the marble.

For this we cut a cardboard cereal box up and laid it flat. We used paddle pop sticks to help divert the marble away from the edges of the box.
After we had glued and taped everything in place we painted it white. We didn’t have much paint left, so we weren’t able to cover everything properly. We made some fake snow by mixing the same amounts of salt and baby powder together and sprinkling this over the wet paint.
The boys also added some cotton balls for snow.
The have had a great time racing each other down the different snow slopes.
