Make a Brazilian Carnival Mask

One of the biggest festivals in Rio, Brazil is the Carnival. So, let’s get creative and make a Carnival Mask!  Let your kids decorate these masks with lots of fun and colourful supplies!

To make these bright and colourful Carnival Masks, you will need:

Printable Carnival Mask
Small colorful feathers
Sequins
Glitter Glue
Glue
Paddle pop Sticks

To make these masks, first print out the mask template on white paper and cut out. 

Trace around the mask onto colourful card. Make two copies for each mask, so if you are creating two masks, you will need 4 copies of the mask template.

Then glue some feathers to the top of one of the masks and a paddle pop stick to one side of the mask.

After the feathers and paddle pop stick are dried in place, glue the other piece of the mask on top to cover where the feathers and paddle pop stick are glued on.

Once this has dried, decorate the front of the mask anyway you like, with glitter, sequins, glitter glue or whatever else you fancy.

Once this has dried, hold your own Carnival parade and show off your creation!
