Days 17 – 19

Day 17

After breakfast and a quick stop at Coles to pick up some food, we had a look at Lake Moondarra on the way out of Mount Isa.

Then we headed for Camooweal, where we camped for the next three days next to Lake Canellan. (On the Wikicamps app, it is known as the Camooweal Billabong).

Days 18 and 19

Days 18 and 19 were rest days. We have been on the move a lot over the last few weeks and decided that we needed a day (or two) off driving and getting up early. So, we slept in and had some lazy days. This also enabled the boys to catch up on a little schoolwork.
