Day 68
When we first came to Broome, we were only planning to stay for 2 nights at the Seventh Day Adventist Overflow Caravan Park, just so we could get our windscreen replaced.
On arriving at the Caravan Park, we were surprised at how full it was and at how many caravans they could fit in such a small place. We managed to get our caravan into our spot, but were not really keen on it. Anyways, we set up the van before taking off for a bit of sight-seeing that afternoon.
First we went to Streeter’s Jetty. This jetty was the original jetty used by the pearling luggers.
It was an old wooden jetty which was really run-down. You had to be really careful where you put your foot!
Then it was off the see some of the Pearl Shops before watching the sunset at Cable Beach.
This is the same place in which you can see the Staircase to the Moon. B got all excited that he got to see the Staircase to the Sun, his new made up attraction. So, I started playing around with a few photos, trying to get them to look like the Staircase to the Moon.
