Jack and the Beanstalk is a great story for young children. Our boys loved listening to it before bed. It was one of their favourites. To go with the book, I created these awesome printables for children who will enjoy working on their math, literacy and fine motor skills while completing the activities in this Jack and the Beanstalk Printable Pack.

Check out the list of materials that we use with these printables.

Jack and the Beanstalk Printable Pack

Jack was a poor country boy who traded his family cow for a handful of magic beans. These beans grow into a towering beanstalk that reaches up into the clouds.

Climbing to the top of the beanstalk, Jack finds a castle of an unfriendly giant. Jack gets inside and finds that the giant doesn’t like his presence.

During multiple visits, Jack acquires some of the giant’s money, his harp and a goose that lays golden eggs.

When the giant finds Jack, he follows him down the beanstalk. Jack manages to beat the giant to the ground and chop the beanstalk down, removing the giant in the process.

As we find out as we read this story, Jack tries to make the best of a bad situation. When the opportunity came to take treasure from the giant’s one, he took advantage of it.
