Ingredients for this Healthy Green Juice Recipe
Celery adds fibre as well as vitamins and antioxidants to this juice, as well as helping with digestion.
Leafy greens such as baby spinach, kale or chard are not only good for you, they also give this juice its lovely green colour.
Cucumber are refreshing and help add moisture to this drink.
Granny Smith (green apples) aren’t as sweet as other types of apples. They do provide lots of vitamins and can help with inflammation, while still adding a lovely natural sweetness to the drink. Other varieties of apples could be used, if you desire.
An inch knob of ginger helps with digestion and boosting the immune system. Ginger also has wonderful anti-inflammatory benefits. If you love your ginger, try adding a little more to your juice.

Making Green Juice
This healthy green juice can be made in a blender, food processor or in a juicer.
First, wash and prep all your fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Juice the ingredients in the order listed or add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Blend or pulse the ingredients in the blender or food processor for about 2 – 3 minutes, until smooth.
Strain the juice using a fine-mesh strainer, pressing the solids downs with the back of a spoon. If you have a nut milk bag, you can use this to strain the juice.
If you have a piece of cheesecloth, you can use that too. Just, cover the jar with the cheesecloth and pour in the juice. Close the cheesecloth tightly, twisting it shut. Squeeze the cheesecloth while tightening the twist. Continue to squeeze until all the juice is extracted. Discard the remnants in the trash, compost, or remnants for vegetable broth.
Transfer the juice to an airtight container and place in the fridge to chill.
Once chilled, pour into a glass and enjoy!
Just remember, the longer this juice sits in the fridge, the more chance it has of separating and turning slightly brown. If it hasn’t been in the fridge that long, it should be fine to stir and enjoy.
This juice is best served as soon as it is made, though it should last in the fridge for up to two to three days.
