These Decimal Cards are a hands-on approach for learning tenths, hundredths and thousandths.
Check out the list of materials that we use with these printables.
These decimal cards are easy to prepare.
- Just print out on white cardstock.
- Cut out the porcupines by cutting on the black lines.
- Laminate for durability.
- Cut out the square acorn boxes along the black lines.
- Laminate for durability.
To Use these Cards:
- Place the porcupines in a line.
- Pick up an acorn card and read the number and look at the number that is underlined or count the blocks.
- Match on and under the correct porcupine.
There are no answers, but you could write the answers on the back of the cards eg. write tenths etc on the bottom left hand side of the correct acorn cards, to make them self checking if you wish. There are also no black or white copies, though you could print this pack in grayscale.
