Daddy Long-leg Spiders Craft

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my full disclosure policy.

R has been learning about spiders in his Animal Science Pace, so we decided to make some Daddy Long-leg spiders. To make you need the following for each spider:

one cup from an egg carton
4 pipe cleaners
2 googly eyes
black marker
glue

We cut the pipe cleaners in half and then bent them into a V shape.
I cut little slits into the egg cup with a stanley knife.

Then we pushed one side of the pipe cleaner into the egg cup through the slit. Repeat for each leg.
Then we glued on the eyes and drew on the mouth.

You could tape the legs on the inside if you want to.

They have been playing with them all afternoon and are now currently sitting near the door, with the spiders in a box, ready to frighten daddy when he walks in.
