Christmas Fudge

Christmas Fudge

To make this easy fudge, you need only a couple of ingredients and about 15 minutes to whip it up. The hardest part is waiting for it to set in the fridge when done.

You will need:

  • 4 cups of milk chocolate chips, though you could use white chocolate or dark chocolate if you prefer
  • 1 tin (395g) condensed milk
  • 1 cup Christmas – red and green – M & M’s
  • extra Christmas – red and green – M & M’s to sprinkle on top

Christmas Fudge

Making Fudge

To make this fudge, first you will need to line a small Lavington tray with baking paper.

Next, combine the milk chocolate chips and the condensed milk in a saucepan.

Over low heat, slowly heat chocolate chips and condensed milk until the ingredients have mixed together. You will need to be careful at this stage, as the fudge can burn easily. To avoid this, keep the heat low and stir carefully.

Take off the heat and fold in the M & M’s. If you can’t find Christmas M & M’s, you can use plain chocolate M & M’s or even Smarties.

Pour the mixture into the prepared tray and sprinkle with a few extra M & M’s. Gently press in these M & M’s.

Place the tray in the fridge and allow to set for a couple of hours.

Cut into squares and store in the fridge in an airtight container.

I have been looking for fudge recipes. Will have to try these out this year. I have to look at all the stores first to decide. Is this for any store or the stores that are advertised on here?

Yum this sounds delicious 😋 I might try it with a combo of all 3 types of chips – milk, white & dark & maybe a splash of peppermint essence!
