As they are getting older and bigger, it is getting harder to find clothes in the size they need at Op Shops. Also, over the years, Op Shop prices have started to rise.
I now purchase the boys clothes from Kmart and Target. I look for clothes that have been marked down at the end of each season, purchase the next two sizes up from what they are wearing at the moment and put them away for when they fit. Target Online is a great in that you can buy from home and then I pick up inshore so it costs nothing extra for postage. The best time is at the end of the seasons and December/January at the post Christmas Sales and June/July at the end of financial year sales.
In the last couple of weeks, I have purchased polo shirts for the boys for 86c each, track pants for $3 and under and jeans for $4. The polo shirts they can wear now, the rest have gone away for next year. They are now all set for this summer and next winter.

R’s clothes are passed down to B when he needs them and R gets new clothes. B does get some new ones, just not as often. He doesn’t mind, neither of them really care about what they wear which is great.
During the hot months, they walk around the house without shirts on, which also saves on washing.
I’m so glad that our boys aren’t picky about clothes. It has saved me a fortune!

These pictures are not the greatest deals that I have found, but for not having any end of season sales or anything they are good prices.
