We talked about making birds nests from chocolate and noodles (they have a recipe on the back of the pack for spiders) and that we needed little eggs to put into the nests.
At Woolworths, we found the eggs we were looking for – m&m speckled eggs. They have no paper and were small and yummy. They ticked all the boxes.
To make the birds nests, we melted 375g packet of chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. Then we added one packet of original fried noodles and mixed it all together.
We then put cupcakes cases onto an oven tray and added about one tablespoon of the chocolate mixture to each one. I did this while the boys placed 3 little speckled eggs onto each nest.
We think they turned out great and were very yummy.
The m&m’s were the crispy ones which the boys haven’t had before.
They really enjoyed making and eating this yummy easter treats.
