I didn’t really know what to expect this to taste like. It doesn’t have any cream or condensed milk in it like ordinary ice creams. As I do cut up any bananas that are going off and put them in the freezer to keep usually for banana cake or muffins, I didn’t have to wait for any banana to freeze. It is nice and yummy and great for a hot day.I made it in the Bellini, but I’m sure you could make it in a food processor.
All it takes is 5 minutes and one ingredient to make a thick and creamy banana ice cream that tastes really creamy and yummy.
Banana Ice Cream
- 400 g frozen banana pieces
- 50 g milk
- maple syrup to taste
- Place the milk and banana pieces into the bowl and using the chopping blade, mix SP6, 6secs.
- Scrape down the sides and add blend SP9, 30 - 40 secs.
- Add maple syrup to taste. I used 1 TBSP and found that was enough.
- Blend SP6, 6 secs.
