Our boys love bacon and cheese anything. I have purchased bacon and cheese rolls in the past from Woolworths and Coles, but I decided to try and make some of our own from scratch and with less on those bad things (preservatives).
We found these to be very delicious. They would make a great addition to a lunch box for those who attend school as well.
Ingredients:
puff pastry
tomato sauce
diced bacon
grated cheese
Method:
Let the puff pastry sit until it is unfrozen enough to roll.
Spread some tomato sauce onto one side of the puff pastry.
Sprinkle on some diced bacon and grated cheese.
Roll up the puff pastry and cut into slices.
Lay the slices on a lined baking tray, making sure to give them room to spread.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
