All Aussie Not Back To School Blog Hop – Learning Spaces

This is the final week of the All Aussie Not Back to School Blog Hop. The topic this week is Learning Spaces.

Our learning space has changed dramatically in the last couple of months. After having a car badly damaged due to a hail storm a couple of years ago, hubby decided that our new car that we just purchased was going into the garage.

This garage used to be our homeschool room, so everything had to go, to make room for the car. So, I have had a massive clean up and given a lot of our homeschooling supplies away. A lot of these things were from when the boys were younger, so we really didn’t need them anyway.

So our ‘new’ school room for this year is our third bedroom. I still have two big white cupboards in the garage filled to the brim with homeschooling books and craft supplies, but the desks and everyday supplies are in this room.

Cupboard Storage

This is the storage for our art supplies, though these boxes are now in a white cupboard with doors that can be closed.

Books

All the boys books are kept in small bookcases next to their desk for easy reach.

Desks

The boys usually take their books and writing utensils and sit at the dining room table to complete their PACEs. They use their laptops and do a lot of the craft activities at this desk.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing our bits of our learning space.

What does your learning space look like?
