These Alphabet Dot Books are a fun way for young children to learn to identify the letters of the alphabet while working on their fine motor skills.

Materials Needed
  • white paper
  • printer
  • colouring pencils
  • scissors
  • fingerpaints or paints
  • q-tips / cotton buds

To create these books, print out all the pages of your choice ~ colour or black and white. Each Letter sheet contains two pages of the Alphabet Dot Books therefore, cut along the solid black line to cut out each of the pages. You will end up with a cover page and one page for each letter of the alphabet. There are also two options of Alphabet dot books ~ lowercase and uppercase letters.

To Use

Depending on your child, the books can be stapled together and your child work on one letter of the alphabet at a time, waiting for the paint to dry before turning the page and completing the next letter. If you prefer, you could have your child complete all the pages before you staple the book together.

To complete, have your child use their finger or a q-tip/cotton bud to paint a coloured dot in each of the circles. If you print out the coloured books, they can match the colours already there or use the black and white books and allowing them to decorate in any colours they wish.
