The boys have seen bats flying over our house in the evenings and have been asking questions about them, so I decided we could do a mini unit study on bats. Bat Unit

With this pack you can, learn all about many different types of bats, echo location, roosting, pups, bat life cycle and bat anatomy.

This Bat study contains pages on seven different bats such as the Bumblebee Bat, the California Leaf-Nosed Bat, the Vampire Bat and the Spotted Bat.

I have included a great selection of books below, but your children can use any books you like to research the answers. I have included answers for a majority of the questions for your information as well.

There are also some math and literacy activity pages included as well as a book that children can create about the different bats. There is a blank page for any bats that your children would like to add that I haven’t included as well. They will also learn about the anatomy of a bat.
